African-American actress Rose Rollins starred in the J. J. Adams blockbuster Mission Impossible 3 starring Tom Cruise. She appeared in several episodes of the TV series The West Wing. Rose was also included among the movies 13 Moons starring Steve Buscemi and Undisputed with Wesley Snipes. In 2006, she starred in Something New, a romantic comedy with Sanaa Lathan and Fuzzy Fantabulous.
 
Tasha Williams is played by Rose Rollins on Showtime’s hit lesbian-themed series The L–Word. Tasha is a lesbian soldier, a former marine who served in Iraq. She is the best friend of the highly promiscuous lesbian latina Papi Torres.
