Spencer Pratt may think he’s popular but he would be very, very wrong.
The Hills star was voted by TV Guide as one of the Top 10 Villains of Reality TV this week. Unfortunately, Pratt didn’t take the number one spot (though he does in my book). That honor went to Omarosa, of
The Apprentice. Also appearing on the list was Jonathan Baker of
The Amazing Race, Jonny Fairplay of
Survivor fame (or infamy), and Puck of
The Real World: San Francisco. Pratt ranked 7th on the list, right smack in between Lisa Fernandes of
Top Chef: Chicago and Wendy Pepper of
Project Runway.
Perhaps becoming aware of how much people hate him and fiancé
Heidi Montag, the couple has spent over $10,000 on weapons to keep them safe. It may not just be paranoia, either. “Spencer does have a few enemies,” a source close to the couple told In Touch Weekly magazine. Perez Hilton echoed those sentiments, posting on his blog, “He’s alienated a lot of people now that he’s rich and famous.” Reportedly, the two bought up every weapon they could get their hands on from shotguns to pistols to semiautomatic rifles.
As if Pratt’s week wasn’t going poorly enough, he made an appearance
Late Night with David Letterman this week, where the host chewed him up and spit him out. Letterman accused The Hills star of causing all of the drama on the show, which Pratt didn’t deny. Pratt was also asked if he was as big of a dope in life as he appears on tv. He also couldn’t keep himself from laughing at Pratt when he said he wouldn’t get out of bed and go to a club for anything less than $100,000. Montag, who sat in the green room in the back, told the camera at one point that she thought Pratt was “low balling it”.
