It's no secret that

Heidi Montag and on-and-off boyfriend
Spencer Pratt has taken a turn for the worse as
The Hills couple allegedly started spreading vicious rumors that Conrad had recorded a sex tape with former
Laguna Beach star and ex-boyfriend
Jason Wahler. Although MTV immediately imposed a "media blackout” on
The Hills' third season cast a few days prior to its premiere to pacify the rumors and the to exchange of blows that worsened in the succeeding weeks, that doesn't seem to suppress Montag and Pratt from digging up the old controversy.

During a taping for Tuesday's episode of
The Tyra Banks Show, Montag and Pratt have claimed yet again that the sex tape of Conrad and Wahler exists.
“I know for 100 percent fact it did exist,” Pratt said. “1,000 percent!”
“I would never watch that,” Pratt told host Tyra Banks, who asked Pratt if he had actually seen the tape. “I would rather throw up… but I know for a fact, and I would take a lie detector test.”
The sex tape controversy took the internet by storm last year, but the sex tape never materialized and Conrad flatly denied it ever existed. According to Montag, who appeared with Pratt on Banks' show, the sex tape was not a rumor.
“From what I have heard from confirmed sources, her ex-boyfriend was going around trying to sell it,” Montag said . “Well, I mean, I am not sure she has it anymore… but from what I've heard. I am not really allowed to elaborate.”
