Heidi Montag just can't get enough of television, but we're not sure if we can say vice versa. We'll already get to see the Hills star on the upcoming season premiere of that MTV show, and now we hear she's not limiting herself to that. Always the one to scope out a headline, the better half of Spencer Pratt will have a turn co-hosting The View.
According to ABC, the reality star has signed up as a panelist for The View next week, appearing on the show on the first of October. She'll be filling in for regular host Elizabeth Hasselbeck, who is supposedly on maternity leave at the time.
An ecstatic Heidi Montag expressed her sentiments to
MTV News, telling them how happy she was at this opportunity. "I've enjoyed each time Spencer and I have been on 'The View' as guests. It will be exciting seeing it from the other side," the
Hills celeb revealed.
"I've always admired Elisabeth, and hopefully I'll be able to provide plenty of my own views while filling in for her," she went on. The last TV personality to fill in for the host was mommy Kate Gosselin of
Jon and Kate Plus 8. Speaking of motherhood, Heidi thinks she's more than ready for that challenge.
"I think I was born ready," she said. "I'm very maternal. I'm very loving. I would be the best mom ever. [He feels] not quite the same, but maybe he just doesn't know he wants kids yet. I think he never wants kids, but maybe I'll have a surprise for him."
We know how Spencer has been trying to avoid that topic by buying a puppy for his wife, but it looks like Heidi Montag just won't give up the idea. Even so, we'll get to watch her plead and beg her husband on the new season of
The Hills.
