The Hills: Montag Says It's "Time for People to Move On"
The third season of The Hills was packed with drama, thanks in part to the ongoing feud between show stars Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag.  However, US Weekly is reporting that a recent post on Montag's official MySpace Page suggests she is ready to put all the bickering behind her.

“I just hope everyone is starting 2008 with a fresh clean slate like I am... the past is the past... and it is time for people to move on from negative influences in their lives and be more positive!” she reportedly said.  “I know at least I am going to try as hard as possible even when people don't deserve kindness... I am still going to give them kindness! Also people should try not to judge other people in 2008!”

Still, this does not mean that Heidi Montag is about to reconcile with her former BFF.  In an interview published in Us' December 31 issue, Montag said that Conrad “is not a part of my life anymore.”

One person who is still part of Montag's life is Hills costar Spencer Pratt.  Clearly, his efforts to win back Montag have not been made in vain, although they won't be making their way to the altar anytime soon.

“We're just going back to being boyfriend and girlfriend," Montag told Us.

Nevertheless, Pratt is still happy about the status of their relationship, even if it has meant putting their engagement on hold.

"I need to accept that Heidi wants her princess wedding and that she is the boss," Pratt told Us, adding that going back to dating isn't so bad, as that was the time "when our relationship was flawless."

The couple seemingly ended their relationship at the end of The Hills pre-taped third season finale.  In the episode, Montag moved out the apartment she was sharing with Pratt and headed to Colorado in order to be with her family.

At the show's live after-party, Heidi Montag showed up without not only Pratt, but also the engagement ring he presented to her last summer.

Of the ring, Montag said, "It wasn't my dream ring.  I don't like what it represents.  I might sell it."
