The Hills: Matchmaker, Matchmaker...

We all have that friend - who thinks that they know better than we do, who thinks that they can fix everything, who gets overly involved in situations that have nothing to do with them. On
The Hills,
Heidi and
Lauren have that friend too, in the form of Heidi's sister, Holly. She has recently moved from her home state of Colorado back out to California and is determined to get the former friends to kiss and make up, so that everything can go back to the way that they once were. Unfortunately, with
Spencer in the picture, that's going to be a lot harder than anyone can imagine!
Holly has been running back and forth between Heidi and Lauren, telling each how sorry the other one is and how much they miss each other. She convinces Heidi to write an apologetic letter to Lauren so that the first step is made towards a reconciliation. Lauren, unfortunately, isn't interested so long as Heidi continues to be in a relationship with Spencer. She can't forgive him for the things that he's done to her and the way that he publicly attacked her, not that anyone can blame her for that.
Spencer is hands down the rudest person who ever walked this earth. I feel like I say that every week and I will continue to say it until he is off my television set forever. He shushed Holly while she was talking to her sister. God forbid the day my sister's boyfriend shushes me when I'm talking and says, "Who is talking to YOU?" to me. Does Heidi not see that her relationship with Spencer has cost her everyone she loves? Even if it was the healthiest, happiest relationship - is it still worth losing everyone else?
The thing about
The Hills is that we know how the season will end because the cast is written up on Perez Hilton's website every other day. Spencer and Heidi are still together while Lauren and Heidi are still not friends. Though this episode made many of us wish for a happy reunion, it doesn't seem that day is coming anytime soon.
How do you prefer Lauren and Heidi?
