Right, I honestly don't know where to start.  My mind is still spinning from the contents of this report that I can't make heads or tails of what's going on in the little blonde head of The Hills' Lauren Conrad.

Thanks to her favorite frenemies, on-again/off-again lovebirds Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag, the issue (or non-issue) of her supposed sex tape with former flame Jason Wahler has once again reclaimed the headlines.  But, that isn't really our story.

Perhaps it's frustration over Montag and Pratt's tirelessly incessant attacks on her.  Or, for all we know, it could be the unexpectedly stupefying truth.  Yet still, could it all just be a case of one big sarcastic comeback from Conrad, fed up with Pratt and Montag's lack of new material to sling at her?  You be the judge, but according to Dateline Hollywood, here's what The Hills co-star had to say about the nasty sex tape rumor that's come back to the fore.

"Heidi and Spencer are total liars who completely distort the truth just to get attention in the press," Conrad reportedly told Dateline Hollywood in an exclusive interview.  Now hold on to your hats, boots, seats, anything for the love of sanity.  Here's what she had to say next.

"The truth is that Jason and I made a tape, but it wasn't a sex tape," The Hills' LC explained.  "It showed Jason and I taking our clothes off, him climbing on top of me, and then inserting himself in me and pounding away for about 10 minutes.”

Wait, there's more: “But he pulled out before he came and then shot all over my face.  So that doesn't count as sex.  Right?"

Will this leave Montag and Pratt speechless from hereon in?  Or simply give them cause to laude themselves and carry on with the anti-Lauren mudslinging?

In other LC news, sex tape or no sex tape, The Hills star is rumored to be dating Doug Reinhardt of the Baltimore Orioles.  The two have reportedly been seen together several times around Los Angeles.
