The news that The Hills' Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt have tied the knot has certainly left the public by surprise, especially since they decided to say their “I Do's” on a spur-of-the-moment decision on Thursday at The One & Only Palmilla Resort near Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.  While eloping with the love of your life calls for spontaneity, leaving your immediate family out of the picture is bound to cause some problems.

The two have had a tumultuous relationship that has caused several feuds between their families and friends.  Heidi's mother Darlene, sister Holly Montag and former best friend Lauren Conrad, who also stars on The Hills, have all expressed concern over Heidi's choice of Spencer as her beau. But now that Heidi and Spencer have finally wed, nothing or no one can tear the couple apart, at least for now.

Holly Montag, who first found out about the Speidi wedding through friends' text messages, was “a little bit hurt” by Heidi's decision to elope and keep the family out of her wedding list.  Nevertheless, she supports the Hills star in whatever she chooses.

“I called [our mom] the [first] thing I heard about anything…she didn't know either what was going on.  And then we were frantically trying to call her [Heidi] but…everybody's pretty upset,” Holly Montag revealed on the After Show.

Holly also reveals that eloping is something far from Heidi's dream wedding.

“Heidi and I always talked about our wedding.  She's very religious…she's always wanted to have a big wedding in a church with our family.  We always talked about being each other's maids of honor,” she said. “[But] whatever makes her happy.”

As for Holly's message for sister Heidi, she wishes her “a lifetime of happiness,” adding “I'll always be there for you.  I love you.”
