The Hills: Heidi Takes A Political Stand
I'm going to start this story off by saying that you're going to think that I'm making this up.  I promise that I'm not.  Look, The Hills star Heidi Montag may not be the sharpest crayon in the box.  We first learned that when she met Spencer Pratt.  Our suspicions were confirmed when she decided to have plastic surgery at the very old age of of 21.  We were totally convinced after seeing her god awful music video that she and Spencer shot themselves on a beach in California.  Yet, Heidi is more than just a friend trashing, scumbag loving Hollywood blond.  She's a Republican.  With an opinion.  This week, she let the world know that she's supporting John McCain for President and he was actually grateful for the endorsement!

What you're about to read is more ridiculous than the Chuck Norris/Mike Huckabee love fest that went on last year.  When Chuck Norris does a push up, he doesn't push himself up.  He pushes the world down.

In her most recent interview with US Weekly magazine, Montag declared her support for her favorite candidate by saying, "I'm a Republican and McCain has a lot of experience."  Upon hearing Heidi's favorable words about him, McCain took to Time Magazine's online blog, saying, "I'm honored to have Heidi's support and I want to assure her that I never miss an episode of The Hills, especially since the new season started."  He also told MSNBC that Montag was "a very talented actress".  Hmm, apparently McCain's handlers forgot to tell him that The Hills is (supposed to be) a reality show.

In related news, Dustin Diamond has thrown his support behind Barack Obama. Obama responded by calling Screech Powers the single greatest contribution to television. Okay, I made that last part up.
