The third season of
The Hills comes to end tonight with show star
Lauren Conrad making a “life-changing” decision.
"I gotta be honest, I haven't seen the final episode yet," Conrad told
People magazine. "I know that something happens in our lives, but I don't know what they're showing... Something very exciting happens in my life. I can't tell you what, obviously, because it has to air, but it was a life-changing something."
While Conrad is not allowed to say what exactly that monumental decision is,
People recently reported that the 21-year-old reality star has been offered another opportunity to relocate to Paris, France. The first time the trip was offered to her, she turned it down in order to be with Jason Wahler, who was her boyfriend at the time.
"I have to make a very big decision -- which I made -- which I'm very happy with now," Conrad told
People, unwilling to say whether it centers around moving to Paris.
The Hills' third season finale will air at 10pm tonight, followed by a live after-party during which the show's cast will answer viewer questions and make “an announcement that will leave fans wanting more.”
40 lucky fans from Canada and the United States will be present at the event, which will take place in Hollywood, Los Angeles.
The Hills: The After Show hosts Dan Levy and Jessi Cruikshank will also be on hand to talk to the show's cast, with the possible exception of engaged couple Spencer Pratt and
Heidi Montag. According to Levy, the two are the only ones who have failed to confirm their appearance at the live finale.
"They are the only two who may or may not be showing up for the finale," Levy told
The Canadian Press. "I don't know if they're necessarily ready to deal with Jessi and I. They watch the show, I know that, and it's all in good fun so hopefully they have enough of a sense of humor to just show up and laugh it off."
