While it's been a few weeks since the last new Good Wife episode (refresh your memory with our latest recap), the intense legal drama finally returns Sunday, April 15 to start the first of its final three episodes. To get you pumped for the conclusion of the season, watch the preview clip below.

Apparently everything gets thrown "on the line" in the final episodes, including Peter's run for governor (against Matthew Perry's Mike Kresteva, introduced in the latest episode), Cary's return to "the dark side" (didn't see that one coming!) at Lockhart Gardener and Alicia's privacy possibly exposed in the public spotlight. "Power, Ambition, Consequences" - pretty much the three cornerstones of The Good Wife. And with the hints revealed in this preview, there will be plenty to be had in the concluding episodes. Some other questions we would like answered:

  • What's going to happen with Alicia's old house, which was apparently purchased stealthily by the ever-exasperating Jackie?
  • Will Kalinda and Alicia finally get back to that place of being "best friends" and routine tequila shot confessions?
  • What exactly is Perry's character threatening Peter with in regards to harming Alicia? Does she have some horrible secret (her affair with Will?) to spill?
  • Will Will make his return to the firm and reclaim his rightful place next to Diane, or will one of the other circling vultures succeed in getting their name on the plaque? (Lockhart Gardner Gold?)
  • What's really at the bottom of Kalinda's tax case Alicia has been assigned to? What is the mysterious investigator hiding this time?

Finally, here is the official description of the season finale, which includes the return of guest stars Michael J. Fox and Martha Plimpton, entitled "The Dream Team" (airing April 29):

Will and Diane scramble when Louis Canning and Patti Nyholm team up to bankrupt the firm. Also, Alicia faces conflicted feelings regarding her relationship with Peter, and Kalinda's past catches up to her.

While it's doubtful Lockhart Gardener will go bankrupt, watching these two notorious lawyers (some of our favorite guest stars) try will surely make for some entertaining fodder. Also, "conflicted feelings" regarding Peter? Does this mean Alicia is actually warming towards her cheating ex?

So many questions, and only three episodes to find answers. Catch the new episode "Pants on Fire" on Sunday at 9pm on CBS.
