Michael J. Fox Guest-Stars on The Good Wife
I had the biggest crush on Family Ties' Alex P. Keaton growing up, so I'm super-stoked to see my man Michael J. Fox is set to guest-star on an episode of The Good Wife, which returns for its second season on CBS on Sept. 28. Fox will play litigator Simon Canning, who's up against Alicia (Julianna Margulies) in a big class action case. According to CBS, Simon is "willing to use anything in court, including symptoms of his neurological condition, to create sympathy for his otherwise unsympathetic client: a giant pharmaceutical company." Fox himself has Parkinson's disease. [TV Guide]

Lionel Luthor Returns to Smallville
For its 10th and final season, Smallville is resurrecting Lionel Luthor! Yep, it's true--John Glover is booked for at least two episodes. We last saw Luthor when Lex pushed him out the window at the end of season 7 (OK, fine, we also saw him briefly in season 8--but it was just archival footage, no back from the dead stuff like this trippy storyline). Piper Perabo Injured on Covert Affairs Set
Poor Piper Perabo! The Covert Affairs actress, who says she does most of her own stunts, was injured this week on the Toronto set of her show. She apparently sustained a knee injury but is expected to make a full recovery. [TMZ]

Possible American Idol Judge Takes a Dive
What a week for Steven Tyler! First one of his Aerosmith bandmates Tom Hamilton openly confirms Tyler's spot as a judge on American Idol, and then guitarist Joe Perry hip-checks Tyler off the stage and into the crowd during a Toronto show. Not cool, Joe. [Zap2it]
