Amid controversies,
Holly Madison,
Hugh Hefner's number 1 girlfriend and star of
The Girls Next Door, will be making an appearance tomorrow on
Chelsea Lately, the late night comedy talk show hosted by
Chelsea Handler. The program, which is notable for Handler's sarcastic approach to the format, is most likely to shed light on the rumors surrounding Madison and her co-stars on the E! series, as well as the new season of
The Girls Next Door, which returns for a fifth season on Sunday, October 5 at 10pm.
Madison moved into the mansion and became one of Hefner's official girlfriends in August 2001, after more than a year of visiting the mansion. Shortly after, she became Hefner's number 1 girl and moved into his bedroom at the mansion, while Hefner's two other girlfriends remained down the hallway.
Madison, out of all the stars on
The Girls Next Door, has been the target of most intrigues. The rumor mill started churning with the buzz that she's attempting to seek editorial control of the
Playboy magazine spreads, which could even threaten long-time employees, and got worse as reports surfaced that she's getting in the nerves of
Girls Next Door co-star
Kendra Wilkinson. Moreover, she was rumored to be leaving the
Playboy founder for stunt performer
Criss Angel, who presently stars on his own program
Criss Angel: Mind Freak.
With new rumors surfacing almost every week, it seems that Madison is already accustomed to gossip world. Occasionally, however, it does get to her nerves especially with the recent report fabricated by
The Enquirer.
“I am soooo grossed out right now,” Madison wrote in her MySpace blog. “First of all,
The Enquirer tracks down my poor defenseless Mom in Oregon to try and get some kind of story on me…they never asked me to comment on anything…I guess they thought my Mom had more of an inside track than I do…So anyway, my Mom tells me she tried to keep everything as generic as possible so as not to ‘give them anything' …and then they go and write that my Mom said Hef and I have a healthy sex life??? GRRRRROOOOOSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!! My Mom would never say that! We don't even talk about sex, even though that's supposed to be the new thing for parents and kids to do or something…Disgusting!”
