Last December, BuddyTV reported what
Holly Madison,
Bridget Marquardt, and
Kendra Wilkinson aspire to do after experiencing the lavish perks of the extravagant Playboy mansion, after enjoying wild adventures and kinky parties on
The Girls Next Door. And as much as these girls would want to all live happily ever after together, they must also face the inevitable changes that are bound to happen some time in the future.
“We're currently negotiating for season five right now, which they want to start filming in March. After that, I'm kind of ready to go do some spin-offs or something. I kind of want to host a show, maybe like a makeover-style show, like
Playboy makeovers,” Marquardt said at the time.
Fast forward to seven months later, which is now,
Hugh Hefner's 34-year-old girlfriend has fulfilled her dream by landing a hosting gig on a travel show. While this is certainly not the makeover-style program that Marquardt initially planned, her new show still gives her the opportunity to flaunt her hosting skills and stray from her usual antics on
The Girls Next Door.
Bridget Marquardt's new show is called
Bridget's Beaches, which is produced by Prometheus Entertainment, the same company responsible for
The Girls Next Door. On the show, the reality TV starlet will be taking viewers as she explores seaside destinations around the world for 13 episodes, which will be aired on the Travel Channel.
Aside from
The Girls Next Door, Marquardt is also credited for her appearances on
Celebrity Paranormal Project, The Search for the Next Elvira and
Celebrity Family Feud.
Meanwhile, this news doesn't come as a big surprise considering the tension brewing inside the Playboy mansion, reportedly caused by Hugh Hefner's number 1 girlfriend, Holly Madison, who is enraging the rest of the stars of
The Girls Next Door by ruling the manor with an iron fist. This drama has spawned rumors of the program's looming ending.
