This season on
The Girls Next Door,
Holly Madison,
Bridget Marquardt, and
Kendra Wilkinson returned to Las Vegas for
Hugh Hefner's 82nd birthday celebration, and went to Monaco to grace the Monte Carlo Television Festival. On this week's episode, however, the girls head to Louisville, Kentucky for the 134th running of the Kentucky Derby.
Not much has been revealed about the eighth installment of
The Girls Next Door's fifth season. But since the girls are always finding something new to do, it seems that the episode called “Kentucky Fried” is no exception.
Hefner and his ladies head out to Louisville to attend the Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs, with the girls decked out in their most fabulous dresses and hats and turning heads. The race, which took place on May 3, was the second largest in Derby history with 157,770 in attendance. Tagged in the United States as "The Most Exciting Two Minutes in Sports" for its approximate duration, the race is also called "The Run for the Roses" for the blanket of roses draped over the winner. For this year's Derby, Big Brown won the race by nearly 5 lengths.
While in Louisville, the stars of
The Girls Next Door also went out for a night on the town and spent some time at the Barnstable Brown Kentucky Derby Eve Gala. Avid viewers of
The Girls Next Door can only wonder what crazy adventure Holly, Bridget and Kendra will come up with next, so better stay tuned tomorrow night at 10pm.
