With the recent news regarding
Hugh Hefner's new blonde trio of girlfriends, it's time for a little investigation on why the previous ladies left the Playboy mansion. Notable among these girls is
Bridget Marquardt, who finally departed the house months after her break-up with the magazine mogul. Apparently, she had been planning to leave the bachelor pad for quite some time now. She merely realized that timing was of utmost importance.
On an interview with Us Weekly, Bridget Marquardt of
The Girls Next Door opened up about her decision, clearing things up at last. “I was actually thinking about it for awhile,” she admitted.
The 35-year-old Playmate continued to say that her move from the mansion had absolutely nothing to do with her
The Girls Next Door co-stars,
Holly Madison and
Kendra Wilkinson. The two of them may have gone ahead with their separate lives, but the three confess that they're still friends.
Marquardt was also concerned that people may think reasons for her departure were rooted with her ex, Hugh Hefner. Regarding that issue, she said, “Hef and I have a really special relationship. This all has nothing to do with my feelings for Hef. I care about him very much. It's just a good time for me to become my own person.”
Of course, Marquardt couldn't miss the news regarding Hefner's new ladies – former Playboy.com model Crystal Harris and the 19-year-old Shannon twins. Knowing that, Bridget wishes them the best of luck. “I just hope their hearts are in the right place and that he's happy,” she said.
It seems as though being on her own is tougher than she thought. As of the moment, Bridget Marquardt has no place to stay. “I'm going to be homeless,” she declared. “I'm a gypsy.” Even so, it's doubtless that she's busy scouting for a place that might not be comparable to the Playboy pad, but home for her nonetheless.
