The Girls Next Door

Last week, we reported on Kendra Wilkinson and Playboy's search for “Girls of Olive Garden.”  Wilkinson, one of Playboy founder Hugh Hefner's live-in girlfriends on E!'s The Girls Next Door, is spearheading the campaign to find female employees of her favorite Italian restaurant to appear in the magazine's special pictorial.

Aside from Playboy's search for the “Girls of Olive Garden,” they are also on the hunt for the next Playmate who will have the distinction of being their 55th anniversary model.

In honor of the celebration, Playboy is said to be looking for "someone who is sexy, sophisticated, and the all-American girl next door," according to The Girls Next Door's Holly Madison.  As part of the quest, Madison and her Girls Next Door co-star, Bridget Marquardt were in Dallas on April 15 and 16 to film their search for the next Playboy Playmate.

Although Marquardt and Madison were there for official purposes, the Girls Next Door didn't pass up the chance to take in the sights and get some good-natured R&R.  The Dallas Morning News reports that the two were spotted at Trader Vic's dancing and having themselves some mai tais to drink.

The next stop on the casting call route for the 55th anniversary search will be Chicago, Illinois on May 27-28, before the hunt takes them to Columbus, Ohio in June and no less than the Big Apple in July.

Those interested may sign up at the Playboy's casting call section to secure their schedule for an open call time.  According to the site, they will accept appointments 30 days before the casting date in each city.  Candidates must be at least 18 years old and must furnish two forms of identification – one bearing a photo and date of birth. There are also other audition schedules for other Playboy requirements outside the search for the 55th anniversary Playboy Playmate.
