Fans of Kendra Wilkinson are ravenous for photos of her newborn son, and thankfully the reality star is generous enough to unveil some. The former star of The Girls Next Door appeared on the cover of OK! Magazine with her baby, Hank Baskett IV, recently, much to the delight of many.
"He's a perfect baby," the new mom exclaimed to the magazine. "I'm very, very happy."
Last week, the star of
Kendra gave birth in an Indianapolis hospital to a healthy child weighing 9 pounds and 5 ounces. It was much celebrated by the family, as well as her
Girls Next Door co-stars.
First was a greeting from Bridget Marquardt, then from Holly Madison. Even
Hugh Hefner managed a Twitter update to congratulate the happy couple. Now, things are looking up as Hank Baskett IV joins the reality TV family.
Everyone seemed amazed by how much the baby weighed, but Kendra has a theory on why that happened. Before Hank was born, she stuffed herself with sweets.
"I ate a whole bunch of brownies," she said with a laugh. "No wonder he's 9 pounds!"
Of course, Kendra and the Playboy models aren't the only ones ecstatic about the birth of little Hank. Big Hank also has a lot to say to his son.
"I just said, 'I love you so much.' I couldn't stop saying 'I love you,'" the NFL athlete exclaimed. If only we could see him tear up at the sight of his firstborn.
But with the arrival of Hank IV comes plenty of responsibility for the parents, and the football star already has his hands full with that. He told
Celebrity Gossip about his experience with one of the most dreaded parenting experiences: diaper-changing.
"Yeah, I changed a few. It's not that bad," Hank Baskett declared.
Even Kendra's mother, Patti Wilkinson, told the publication thrilled they all are. What's more, the baby's just in time for the Christmas holidays.
"It's just amazing!" little Hanks' grandmother exclaimed. "They're all doing great. It's a very exciting time."
