Kendra Wilkinson of
The Girls Next Door has a few things to say to
Playboy mogul and ex-boyfriend
Hugh Hefner, and one of the more notable ones is that she's sorry. Her recent interview with
US Weekly revealed a number of things about their relationship, and she decided to clear things up at last. The 23-year-old celebrity talked to
E! News about what really happened, despite earlier comments that being in Hef's mansion isn't all that.
“I'm more upset at myself with what I said,” she revealed. “I'm really bad at interviews, and anyone who knows me knew I meant no harm...I'm a goofball. Mostly, I'm very sorry to have hurt Hef
…Playboy made me who I am, and Hef has done more for me than anyone else.”
Her words were a response to something she herself said in her
US Weekly Q&A. There, Kendra Wilkinson admitted that she usually snuck out of the mansion because she “had to have sex.” It was because she barely saw her 82-year-old beau in the house, usually just once a day and in passing.
“Besides the nights we went out, I only saw Hef, like, once a day walking through the halls to his office. There were never solo dates,” Kendra admitted. But she did make her way back into the
Playboy mansion, apologizing to Hugh Hefner in person.
“Hef was hurt, but he understands,” she went on. “He knows me and knows what came out of the article was not me at all.” Thinking this wasn't enough, Kendra personally approached her former Mansion mates and
The Girls Next Door co-stars
Holly Madison and
Bridget Marquardt.
“We are all doing so great these days, everyone is happy and doing their own thing,” said Kendra. “We will all be together forever.”
Even though she's going to tie the knot with Philadelphia Eagles player Hank Baskett soon, Kendra Wilkinson knows that she won't forget her roots. “In my heart, I will always love Hef and Playboy.”
