When
Hugh Hefner ended his relationship with longtime girlfriend
Holly Madison, there was immediate speculation over the reason for the breakup.
The Girls Next Door star recently told OK! Magazine that ending things was her idea, after she realized that he was never going to budge on the issue of marriage, and especially on children. "I wanted to have kids,” she said. “When that wasn't possible, I realized that I had to be honest with Hef and break it off.” Hef admitted to being “down in the dumps” about losing Holly, telling The Associated Press, "If Holly says it's over, I guess it's over.” Rumors spread that Holly was cozying up to magician Criss Angel and this weekend, they went public with their romance.
Just a few weeks ago, Holly told the celebrity website Hollyscoop exactly what kind of guy she was looking for. "I like dark hair, I just like guys who are fun and nice,” she said. “I like all the good stuff, guys who are hot, fun, nice and smart." On Halloween night, Holly headed to the opening of Criss Angel’s new Cirque Du Soleil show in Las Vegas, where he commented to the press about his new love interest. "This is one of the most special evenings for me in my life and I cannot think of a more beautiful person, a more special person, inside and out, than Holly to spend it with," he told People magazine.
When he was asked how the two ended up becoming an item, he coyly replied, "I got lucky. I didn't have a date and so she said, 'I'll come'. She makes me look good." The two have been photographed in recent weeks kissing and cuddling. After Criss’s show on Friday, the two headed hand-in-hand to his private after party.
