After ending her relationship with Hugh Hefner, it certainly didn’t take long for Kendra Wilkinson to move on. The star of The Girls Next Door immediately hooked up with NFL player Hank Baskett, who plays for the Philadelphia Eagles. In fact, things moved so quickly that he recently proposed to her in Seattle. They have set a wedding date of June 27th, 2009 and the nuptials will take place at the Playboy mansion. To top off the creepy factor, Hef will be walking Kendra down the aisle and giving her away.  "I have given her my blessing," Hef said in a statement released last week.  Last night, Kendra's new man couldn't help but gush over the woman he hopes to spend the rest of his life with.

At a fundraiser last night, Baskett spoke to the media about what he loves best about Kendra. One of the main passions they share is their love for helping others and, in particular, getting involved with children’s charities. "Kendra has one of the biggest hearts and that's one of the things that really drew me to her," he said. The couple also enjoys being homebodies who are low maintenance. "Both of us like to stay home and wear sweats than go out and party. She's really down to Earth that's what drew us to each other."

While it may be weird to some that Kendra’s ex-lover is walking her down the aisle at the wedding, Baskett sees it differently. "Hef is like a father to her so he's going to be the one to give her away,” he said. “That's why I wanted his blessings and her mom's blessing." Baskett could not be happier that Kendra will soon be his wife, gushing to the press, "Ever since I met her, this is the happiest I've ever been in my life. And every day she does something else that makes me fall in love with her."

Kendra's family seems happy with her decision to enter into a relationship with Baskett.  "Everyone is very happy," a source told People magazine this week. They just have one small concern when it comes to marriage. "Her mother thinks Kendra is too young," the source revealed, "but she is very happy for her daughter and absolutely loves Hank."
