The big day for Kendra Wilkinson arrived last week, as she gave birth to her son, Hank Jr. The former star of The Girls Next Door and her NFL player husband Hank Baskett are now proud parents of a baby boy, born in Indianapolis on Friday via C-section at 12:37 AM.
According to Kendra's publicist Kira Costello, the baby has been named Hank Randall Baskett IV and weighed in at 9 pounds, 5 ounces. The arrival of their first child was no doubt a celebrated moment for the couple, who were wed last June at the Playboy mansion.
It was just a few days ago that we reported Kendra going into labor
. Now, the baby's finally here and will be keeping the 24-year-old reality star on her toes.
Of course, the affair wouldn't be complete without greetings from her fellow Girls Next Door
co-stars and famous ex-boyfriend Hugh Hefner. Her friends Bridget Marquardt and Holly Madison posted congratulatory messages for Kendra on their Twitter accounts, as did Hef.
"Well...its official. Kendras baby is born...Little Hank is here," the 36-year-old Bridget Marquardt announced on her page. "WOW! Congrats to Kendra and Hank."
As for Holly Madison, she was also elated by the news. No surprise there. "Congrats @KendraWilkinson!!! a 9 pounder!" she wrote.
Even Hugh Hefner took time out to congratulate the new parents. "Congratulations to Kendra & Hank on the arrival of little Hank," he posted. "What a wonderful Christmas present."
Even though the new Girls Next Door
didn't wish Kendra all the best with her son, she's already too busy minding little Hank to bother. She and Hank Baskett haven't released an official statement regarding the big news, but we're pretty sure they will, once they get used to having a baby around.
What's more, we get to see Hank Jr. on Kendra
as well. What else did we expect? Here's a sneak peek of the special episode E! has lined up for the Basketts.
