The Girls Next Door: Bridget Marquardt Heads to the 'Celebrity' Jungle
She may be busy touring beaches for her latest reality show, but former Girls Next Door Bridget Marquardt is off for another adventure.  Again, it's another reality series and we aren't really that surprised.  Word has it that the Playboy model has been tapped for a spot on this year's I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! UK installment, its ninth season so far.

The Daily Star reports that ITV1 producers have been doing negotiations with Bridget Marquardt for her to join the reality competition.  I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! pits several star contestants against one another in jungle-themed competitions to win prizes for their chosen charity.

With 35-year-old Bridget already used to facing the unusual challenges brought about by Mother Nature on her show Beach Watch, she admits she's ready for the jungle.  She could be forced to eat bugs or swing from vine to vine, but she isn't backing down.

A close friend of Bridget's claimed, "Bridget would love the challenge of the jungle and meeting new people.  She's a fun girl."

Well, she needs to keep herself busy now that her ex-boyfriend Hugh Hefner has three other girls that replaced her and co-stars Kendra Wilkinson and Holly Madison.  Bridget's forthcoming wildlife adventure might even do her some good.  What's more, she's not scared one bit.

According to STV, the former Girl Next Door said, "There were a lot of things I had to do that were dangerous, but I turned nothing down."

Well, we'll see if this Playboy model can actually rough it once she gets dropped into the wild jungle.  The new season of I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! starts next month.  Other potential cast members include glamour models Samantha Fox and Nicola T, actor Brian Blessed, cricketer Freddie Flintoff, former boyband singer Brian McFadden, snooker player Jimmy White and Michael Jackson's siblings Tito and LaToya.
