There seems to be some sort of tension brewing inside the Playboy Mansion.  Holly Madison, Hugh Hefner's number 1 girlfriend, is reportedly enraging the rest of the stars of The Girls Next Door by ruling the manor with an iron fist.

According to TMZ, which first reported the news, Madison is even attempting to seek editorial control of the Playboy Magazine spreads, which could even threaten long-time employees.  Most of all, she's getting in the nerves of Girls Next Door co-star Kendra Wilkinson, who is also known as girlfriend number 3.

Sources say that Wilkinson, who turned 23 last week, can't be in the same room with Madison for more than five minutes without “totally going at it,” a growing problem for producers of the reality series.

Girlfriend number 2 Bridget Marquardt, on the other hand, remains neutral in the rift and tries to keep the peace.

As for the producers of The Girls Next Door, they maintain that they are “not aware” of any rift between the girls that is affecting the reality series or life at the Playboy Mansion.

Madison moved into the mansion and became one of Hefner's official girlfriends in August 2001, after more than a year of visiting the mansion.  Shortly after, she became Hefner's number 1 girl and moved into his bedroom at the mansion, while Hefner's two other girlfriends remained down the hallway.

Outspoken in her desire to wed the sex icon, Madison revealed that she wants to have children with Hefner.  And although there were even rumors that the two are engaged, Hefner stated that he has no plans to marry, even though Madison is the “love if his life.”

Meanwhile, fans can relive the adventures of Hugh Hefner and his girls by catching reruns of The Girls Next Door on E!
