FOX is going all-in with the X-Men in its new drama series, The Gifted. The will premiere in Fall 2017 and the network has released the full trailer revealing the impressive mutant powers.

From Burn Notice creator Matt Nix and X-Men film director Bryan Singer, The Gifted centers on two parents, played by True Blood's Stephen Moyer and Angel/Person of Interest's Amy Acker, who discover their kids have mutant powers.

The trailer shows those powers as their son is bullied at a high school dance and unleashes a Carrie-style telekinetic attack. The family is forced to go on the run from the government, finding help from an underground group of mutants.

The Gifted will include plenty of references to the X-Men universe, but the real test will be whether the series can live up to the impressive visuals and production values of this pilot.

The Gifted is certainly FOX's big hope for the new season and will premiere this Fall.
