American actor Ross Bagley was born on December 5, 1988 in Los Angeles, California. He came to prominence as a child actor during the 1990s, becoming known for his role as the youngest Banks son Nicky in the TV sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, for which he won a Young Artist Award. He also appeared alongside Fresh Prince star Will Smith in the sci-fi blockbuster Independence Day. Other films he has worked on include The Little Rascals and Babe. He also acted in various television series such as Profiler, Providence, The Wild Thornberrys, and Judging Amy.
Nicholas “Nicky” Banks is played by Ross Bagley in the classic NBC television comedy show The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Will’s youngest cousin, he’s born in the middle of the series and quickly grows up into a preschooler. He typically provides funny jokes and comic relief for his older counterparts, as well as motivation and even deeper emotional involvement. His full name is Nicholas Andrew Michael Shawn Nathan Wanya Banks, named after members of the R&B group Boyz II Men, who sang for him during his baptism.
