ABC Family has decided to renew Switched at Birth
for a third season while picking up more episodes of freshmen drama series The Fosters
. The announcement comes on the heels of the cancellation of Bunheads
and The Lying Game
Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.
Switched at Birth, the Peabody Award winning drama that revolves around two teenagers who were switched at birth, is currently on its sophomore season and is expected to conclude on August 19.
Meanwhile, The Fosters and Twisted have been given a full order, with additional 10 episodes to be produced. Both shows are set to continue on January 2014. The Fosters centers on a lesbian couple who are raising their children together while Twisted is a mystery thriller about a teenage boy who returns to his hometown and becomes the primary suspect when a fellow student is shockingly found dead. Both shows are generating close to 2 million viewers.
