The Flash is coming and its joining the larger DC Universe, which includes The CW's Arrow. The newly released "Discover What Makes a Hero" Poster has quite a few DC Comics nods a.k.a Easter Eggs hidden within it, including Barry Allen as the Fastest Man Alive.

Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.

Geoff Johns, DC Comics' Chief Creative Officer and also an executive producer of the show, commented at this summer's Television Critics Association Press Tour that the show's mythology would be "the most faithful" of the adaptations.

Johns also teased that there would be a lot of Easter Eggs throughout the series from the beginning, "In the pilot we see Gorilla Grodd's cage empty." If you look closely at the poster, there is another reference to Grodd.

The Flash stars Grant Gustin (Glee) as Barry Allen/The Flash, Candice Patton (The Game) as Iris West, Rick Cosnett (The Vampire Diaries) as Eddie Thawne, Danielle Panabaker (Justified) as Caitlin Snow, Carlos Valdes (Once on Broadway) as Cisco Ramon, with Tom Cavanagh (Ed) as Harrison Wells and Jesse L. Martin (Law & Order) as Detective West.

The Flash premieres Tuesday, October 7 at 8 pm ET on the CW.
