Last week on The Fashion Show, Isaac Mizrahi and Kelly Rowland weren't buying Jonny's fashion sense. Kristin landed herself in the bottom two but managed to make it through the first cut.
Unfortunately, the stress of an elimination competition is too much for Kristin and she announces this week that it's in her best interest for her to go home. One more designer on The Fashion Show down in an instant.
Isaac and Kelly announce that they'll be working in the same teams this week. James-Paul, as last week's winner has the option to move a player to move a player from his team to another team. He votes Daniella over to team Tube Skirt.
The Harper's Bazaar min-challenge is about wearability and saleability. Laura Brown comes in and explains that each team will get a box that contains high end and low end items. Each team will be dressing two mannequins in high-end and budget looks. Team tube skirt goes first and finishes in 2:47 seconds. They have the blazer, belt and scarf incorrect. The second round they get the blazer and dress wrong. The third round they complete the task in 7 minutes 29 seconds. Team Harem Pants goes next and get two wrong, the purse and belt. The second round, they get the belt wrong. On their fifth round, they finally complete it at 13 minutes and 2 seconds. Team Bolero goes last and get the bank and budget outfits correct first in 3 minutes and 47 seconds.
The teams pick head designers for the elimination challenge. Haven, Anna, and James-Paul are picked. Tinsley Mortimer is the guest judge this week. She wants the teams to design her different looks for her busy schedule: A ladies luncheon outfit, a charity gala outfit, backstage party at a rock concert outfit and a gallery presentation. The budget is $40 per look. Team Bolero gets $10 extra per look. They have 14 hours to complete all the looks. She makes a note that hair is really important in this challenge.
James-Paul suggest s stealth fighter look for Team Bolero. Stealth fighters are like these planes that like people invented a couple of years ago or something, right? Haven brings up an eighties look. She mentioned shoulder pads and I'm afraid. Really, really afraid. Haven gets angry when Laura buys three red pieces of fabric. Anna tells her team to focus on the little details.
Markus and Johnny discuss how glamorous her luncheon dress should be. Haven finally says something to Laura and she freaks out and says people are ganging up on her. Johnny says he's used to having sewers so he's having a hard time doing his own work. Reco is quite concerned about Markus because he hasn't actually sewn anything at the beginning of the second day. The TRESemmme hairstylist works with the designers. The fashion designers are actually designing the model's hair with the stylists.
Isaac Mizrahi and Kelly Rowland are worried about the stealth fighter idea. Kelly Rowland notes that Haven likes the Linda Evans look. Laura tells Isaac and Kelly that she wants to add the red back in. Her team gets really angry that she won't drop the red. Daniella explains she's making a see-thru biker jacket and no one's buying it. James-Paul and Angel are working well together. Johnny's dress is really Tinsley. Daniella's outfit just doesn't make sense to anyone.
