The Dresden Files is a television series on the Sci Fi channel based on the books by Jim Butcher. The fantasy-mystery series is told from the fictional point of view of
Harry Dresden who also leads the show.
As the focus of the plot in
The Dresden Files, Harry Dresden is the only professional wizard in modern-day Chicago. He is a private detective with bizarre abilities. Throughout the series there are occurrences of seemingly inexplicable crimes in which Harry battles with his cynical sense of humor and supernatural abilities. The cast includes a swarm of talented personalities such as Lt. Connie Murphy (
Valerie Cruz), Bob (
Terrence Mann), Morgan (
Conrad Coates), and Kirmani (
Raoul Bhaneja).
The Dresden Files is produced by Lionsgate Television in association with Cage's Saturn Films together with Nicolas Cage, Hans Beimler, Robert Hewitt Wolfe, Norm Golightly, and Morgan Gendel. It airs Sundays at 9/8 C on the Sci Fi channel.
