As an actor, he initially starred in Broadway productions like Barnum and Cats where he was recognized for his breakthrough performance. Eventually, he landed the role of Inspector Javert in Les Misérables where he earned a Tony award nomination for Best Actor in a Lead Role. Moreover, he was also a renowned professor in musical theater at Western Carolina University. Ultimately, he became part of the television series The Dresden Files as Bob.
