The Dead Zone

-Action Network The Dead Zone centers around Johnny Smith, who was leading a picture perfect life as a teacher in a small town before a car accident leaves him in a coma which he wakes up from six years later. In the six years since, his "perfect" life has been shattered as his mother has passed away and his wife has since remarried and is raising his son. In addition, the "dead zone" areas of his brain have been lit up with new activities that compensate for the damage suffered during the automobile accident. He now possesses psychic abilities which he uses to help solve crimes while attempting to put his life back together. The Dead Zone airs on USA Network.

Biography

Australian American Sarah Wynter was born in New South Wales on February 15, 1973. Her love for acting made her move to New York City, where she studied drama. The Screen Actors Guild recognized her for two of her roles, one in Sex and the City and the other in 24. She married Dan Peres, editor-in-chief of Details magazine, on August 2005.

Rebecca Caldwell is played by Sarah Wynter on USA Network's science fiction and suspense series The Dead Zone. Rebecca is a child psychiatrist, and she encountered Johnny Smith during the investigation of her sister Rachel's murder. She became his girlfriend shortly after the investigation.
