Anthony Denison Biography:

Long before appearing as Ray Luca in the critically-acclaimed drama series Crime Story, Anthony John Sarrero, a.k.a Anthony Denison, was working as an insurance life agent for John Hancock Insurance in Poughkeepsie, New York. This is not to say that Denison did not have a passion for acting. In fact, he would go all the way to New Paltz just to act in several small productions, all the while trying to keep his nine-to-five job. Well, those days have come and gone, and since then, Denison has appeared in numerous television shows and movies. He has had roles in television shows like J.A.G., Cold Case, Charmed, Prison Break and the first ESPN written series, The Playmakers. Now, he he can be seen on the TNT crime drama, The Closer.

Andy Flynn is portrayed by Anthony Denison on the drama, The Closer. Flynn is an influential detective lieutenant with the LAPD, is hard at work under Commander Taylor’s watchful eye until he is suddenly transferred to the Priority Homicide Squad. He is transferred in the hopes of “helping” Deputy Chief Brenda Johnson, and being exremely loyal to the commander, he agrees. However, his loyalty quickly vanishes when the Commander, hoping to wash his hands off clean of any anomalies, quickly puts the blame on Flynn. Flynn finally gets fed up with the commander’s unfair treatment and requests to be moved to the Priority Homicide Squad permanently.
