After focusing its attention to biographies, documentaries, and reality series, A&E is launching its first scripted drama in more than six years with a series called
The Cleaner. Inspired by the true story of real-life "extreme interventionist," the show centers on a man named William “The Cleaner” Banks, who strikes a tentative deal with God after hitting rock-bottom from his own addictions following the birth of his daughter. Now, he vows to extinguish his addictions and dedicate his life to helping others, along with his unconventional team who also helps him “clean” people from their own addictions by any way possible.
Leading
