the classLucy Punch became a TV regular when she was cast on the comedy series The Class. As the character Holly Ellenbogen, she lingered on the series for 12 episodes, leaving the show due to creative changes implemented by the executive producers. Previously, she was Kyle Lendo’s prom date but was brokenhearted when he cheated on her with another guy. Later, she became a successful television news reporter who married the seemingly effeminate Perry Pearl. Still devastated on Kyle’s cheating, she went to Ethan Haas’ reunion party to brag to Kyle how happy she is with her married life.

After her stint on The Class Lucy Punch starred in the action-comedy Hot Fuzz. Directed by Edgar Wright, the film explored the adventures of Nicholas Angels as the finest cop in London. With an unbeatable arrest record, he made everyone on the force looked sloppy. He was perceived as a great threat to his superiors and was sent to a seemingly crime-free village called Sandford. Upon his arrival in the small town, he was paired with an overeager police officer named Danny Butterman who added to Nicholas’ growing frustration. But when a string of accidents occurs, the odd pair gradually discovered that beneath the crime-free Sandford is a small town with lots of mystery and action. The former Class actress starred as Eve Draper, along with Simon Pegg as Sergeant Nicholas Angel and Nick Frost as Danny Butterman.

Later this year, Lucy Punch will be featured in the film St. Trinian’s. Directed by Oliver Parker and
Barnaby Thompson, the comedy movie centers on a motley and group of unruly young girls who uses their wit and cleverness to save their school from bankruptcy. She will be playing the character Verity Thwaites, joining Rupert Everett, Colin Firth, and Jodie Whittaker.
