TMZ reports that Adrienne Bailon, the eldest of the Disney teen pop group known as The Cheetah Girls, is the latest young celebrity to be caught with her pants down.

Several practically nude photos of Bailon have surfaced on the Internet weeks after her laptop was stolen at JFK airport. Apparently, in late October, she filed a report with the Port Authority at JFK about her missing laptop, but later, her record label received an anonymous phone call from a man demanding $1000 in exchange for the returned computer.

The anonymous man and Bailon met to make the exchange. However, the man allegedly kept several semi-nude photos of Bailon that she had taken as an anniversary present for her boyfriend Robert Kardashian, which are now circulating around the web. As a result, Bailon and her camp will be pursuing legal action against the man.

Adrienne Bailon's spokesperson, Jonathan Jaxson, issued this statement to TMZ:

"The photos that have surfaced of Adrienne Bailon were stolen from her laptop over a week ago at an airport in NY and sent to several media outlets. These photos were taken in private. Adrienne will be pursuing legal action against the person or person's sending these private photos out.

Adrienne is deeply sorry for any pain this may have caused to her fans."

Now, seriously. I'm no prude. I think that taking nude photos of yourself, for whatever reason, is your prerogative. Taking saucy photos of yourself for your boyfriend can even be sweet. Especially if you have a nice body like Adrienne Bailon has.

But, if you're in the public eye, and your career has been launched under the auspices of the Disney Corporation, for the love of God, please take some measures to protect your, um, assets. Leave them at home. Don't schlep them around the country on a laptop that is easily stolen. Please!
