Agnes Bruckner got her break on the soap opera
The Bold and the Beautiful as the character Bridget Forrester. Following actress Landry Albright, she portrayed the daughter of Brooke Logan and Eric Forrester, younger sister to Rick and sister to six half-siblings, Thorne, Felicia, Kristen, Angela, Hope and R.J. She represented the character from 1997 to 1999.
After
The Bold and the Beautiful, Bruckner lingered on the TV loop as a guest star on shows like
Pacific Blue, The Fugitive, and
Touched by an Angel. She gradually landed recurring roles on
Alias as Kelly McNeil and on
24 as Linda. In film, she became part of the thriller
The Glass House as Zoe, in
Home Room as Cathy, and in
Rick as Eve O'Lette. She earned an Independent Spirit Award nomination for Best Female Lead in the movie
Blue Car, where she played Megan Denning, and was also nominated for a Young Artist Award Best Performance in a Feature Film in the Supporting Young Actress category for her work in
Murder by Numbers as Lisa Mills. She was also credited for her work in
Venom, The Woods, Peaceful Warriors, The Iris Effect and
Stateside. Last year, she won the Best Actress award at the Method Fest for her performance in
Dreamland, which she shared with Kelli Garner. Most recently, she starred as Vivian in the film
Blood and Chocolate, a horror-romance starring Hugh Dancy and Olivier Martinez.
Bruckner has finished filming
Last Resort, an action-thriller movie directed by Chris Moore. Slated for release this year, she stars as the character Jennifer, along with
Patrick Flueger as Michael, Teddy Dunn as Brent, Ryan Duzich as Amber, Taryn Manning as Alex, Theo Rossi as Carlos, Daniel Franzese as Freddy, and Steffi Wickens as Nicole. Currently, she is busy filming the movie
Say Hello to Stan Talmadge, a comedy that follows the misadventures of an estranged ex-husband struggling to reunite with his family.
