Answers will be revealed on the next episode, "Madeline Pratt," of The Blacklist
. Or, at least answers might be revealed. We've been asking questions all season, but never seem to get closer to the truth.
Sure, we know the answer to the paternity question, if we can even believe Red, but there's still plenty we don't know. Why did Red approach Lizzie to begin with? What happened in his past and who is he looking for? What does Alan Alda have against him? Is Tom trustworthy? Will he and Lizzie make it and will they ever have that baby? NBC's The Blacklist loves to keep us guessing and has spent over half a season constantly reminding us of what we don't know, but it looks like we'll finally get some answers soon.
Knowing how The Blacklist
enjoys teasing us, we'll still be left with more questions than answers. What we do know, though, is that, as usual, Red and Lizzie will be taking someone down off of the Blacklist. However, they're going to have to look their best to do it. Check out these pictures from "Madeline Pratt."
It looks like Red is going to continue his tenuous relationship with the FBI. He and Lizzie are stronger than ever, though, she blurs the line between doing things by FBI standards and getting things done with Red even more. While things are getting back to normal professionally, things also aren't going too well for Tom and Lizzie as their already fragile relationship starts to crumble. Before the break, Tom ended up in the car with another woman, and it looks like things are only going downhill from here. Check out a preview of Monday's new episode.
Things aren't looking too good for Tom and Lizzie and it's unclear where this distance is truly coming from. Is it because of Red's continuous warnings and apparent knowledge about Tom's secret? Is Tom really working against Lizzie in some way? Is it that Lizzie is getting sucked in by Red and the FBI? It's probably a combination of a bunch of different things. Either way, Tom's loyalty is going to be tested. We're just going to have to watch to find out where he really stands.
