First, a quick reminder: this is going to be the last episode of The Biggest Loser: Couples
before the Winter Olympics kick in. You know NBC's doing wall-to-wall coverage of the game, cleaning their entire schedule for that... and maybe even more, as tonight's episode will feature a lot of Olympians. I told you it's wall-to-wall.
So, after last week's dramatic return (and admittedly anti-climactic elimination), the remaining contestants head to the national team's Olympic training facility in Colorado Springs. There, they get to meet a load of athletes: paralympic athlete Allison Jones, skiers Julia Mancuso and Jeret Peterson, speed skater J.R. Celski, and figure skater Rockne Brubacker. They'll be around to welcome the contestants, help them work out, and cheer them on in a sliding challenge.
Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.
But it's not going to be a holiday for the contestants. Now the competition takes the next step, moving from teams to singles. No more thrown weigh-ins, no more complicated figures; it's every man for himself. But I guess the contestants wouldn't feel it just yet; after all, they're surrounded by a lot of athletes. Only elimination will shatter that illusion.
Oh, did I mention two more will go home tonight? That's fast tracking. The Biggest Loser: Couples
returns with its last episode in a month, back from 8pm tonight on NBC.(Image courtesy of NBC)
