The Biggest Loser: Previewing Episode 8.03
After the pile-on of feel-good moments on last week's The Biggest Loser--Alison's challenge, the phone calls, the working together, the fact that everybody was safe for another week--it's back to the nitty-gritty.  And by that, I mean a little bit of politics.

Well, not really.  There is, after all, the inevitable game play aspect to the show: while some are only here to jumpstart their weight loss, others do a little bit more.  Jillian, for one, will get very frustrated when she thinks one of the contestants is focused too much on playing the game rather than losing weight.  I mean, you can still think of that, yet-unnamed contestant?

But that's not yet mentioning the weigh-in, where one contestant alienated everyone else in the ranch with questionable choices.  You see, this week's weigh-in seems to have a lot at stake.  Alison's at it with her offers again, giving one contestant an advantage at weigh-in--but that contestant has to lose both Bob and Jillian for the week.  And then there's the temptation, which gives one contestant considerable control of the weigh-in, which probably explains for all those off choices, and possibly the most tense weigh-in this year.

And when someone gets eliminated, it's going to break everyone's hearts.  I don't like the sound of this.

Today's challenge has the contestants testing their stamina, but I'm curious about one of them--I don't really know who, but it'll be revealed that she (yes, a she) has an injury that will affect her workout routines a great deal.  I mean, if Tracey's hospital stay two weeks ago wasn't scary enough, would this one be it?  More reminders, yes.

The Biggest Loser returns tonight from 8pm on NBC.
