The Biggest Loser: It's A Baby Girl for Alison Sweeney
We've been seeing the very pregnant The Biggest Loser host Alison Sweeney on so many places on the screen, from episodes of her reality show to her many other appearances.  I still remember when she showed up on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and it seemed like she could go into labor any minute—I don't know if it was a joke, but if I remember correctly, there was a clip when she was doing her breathing in between breaks.  Obviously nothing happened right there.

But, finally, the journey is over, and Sweeney has given birth to her second child with husband Dave Sanov.  At twelve minutes before midnight last Monday, she gave birth to a baby girl, which she named Megan Hope.  Weighing in at 6 pounds, 7 ounces, the baby is doing well, according to the actress' representative.  “Both mommy and baby—and daddy, too—are doing well,” said Carrie Simons.  “It was a very easy delivery, and everybody is great.”

Sweeney, who also starred in the daytime drama Days of our Lives, has worked on the show throughout her pregnancy, and can't wait to get back on the set.  “She's still in hair and makeup from her day on the set!” Simons reported, adding that the Loser host went to labor shortly after filming a segment for the show.  “[She] can't wait to watch The Biggest Loser … with her daughter.”

Megan is the couple's second child; their first son, Ben, is now three years old.  Judging from a previous interview—she told People magazine that she is looking forward to raise a daughter—this is going to be a fun and fulfilling experience for her. A s for her work on The Biggest Loser, well, that continues too; a new episode hits screens this Tuesday from 8pm on NBC.
