'The Biggest Loser' Finale Tonight: Who Walks Away The Winner?
'The Biggest Loser' Finale Tonight: Who Walks Away The Winner?
Last week on The Biggest Loser, Danny and Rudy breezed through the final on-campus weigh-in, losing around a hundred pounds combined to put them above the yellow line. As for the other two, Liz and Amanda, well, their respective 16-pound losses weren't enough, and now they're pleading their cases to us to send them, or at least one of them, to the finale.

This week, it's that finale.

It's been roughly three months since sixteen contestants began their weight loss journey--well, to be technical about it, fifteen contestants, plus one (Daniel) who started last season, and the other one who lost the popular vote and didn't get to join the show (remember Erinn?). Since then, a handful of records have been broken, a number of surprise moves have been made, a lot of pounds have been lost, and most importantly, a lot of lives have changed--and I'm not just talking about the health improvements, but also the romances in between.

Tonight, The Biggest Loser winds down another season with another live finale, as we look at all the contestants and see how they've been--how much weight they've lost, and how much their lives have changed. But the focus, of course, are on the four remaining contestants. Either Liz or Amanda will be announced as the third finalist, determined by popular vote. One of them will join Rudy and Danny for the final weigh-in, and whoever is the biggest loser will walk away the winner--$250,000. And, of course, a new life, more or less.

Of course, the other thirteen contestants have the chance to become the at-home winner and win $100,000. And the special bit this season: one of the contestants will be chosen for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. The question, as always: what could that be? The Biggest Loser's live finale airs tonight from 8pm on NBC.
