Alison Sweeney brought the contestants into a room for their temptation challenge. It’s something that the players are used to but they were shocked and caught off guard when they found out what the prize for the winner would be. In a darkened room, whoever ate the most calories (from sweets like donuts and candy) would win the ability to take the family pairs and put them onto two teams: blue and black.
Heba, of the orange team, ended up eating the most and kept the players with their trainers and loved ones, with two exceptions. She split up husband and wife
Amy and
Phil as well as mother and daughter
Amy and
Shellay. Shellay ended up paying the price and was sent home after her team lost the weigh in. Here is a preview of what’s coming up on tomorrow night’s episode.
On Tuesday’s two hour episode, Bob and Jillian decide to change things up with some unusual and original workouts for contestants. The remaining 9 contestants will also pay a visit to Dr. Huizenga,
The Biggest Loser’s resident medical expert, who will give them their six week health progress reports. The challenge will involve a balance beam and the team that wins will receive a special prize from home.
This week, Phil spoke to his local newspaper about being on
The Biggest Loser. He and wife Amy are now competition to each other in the game but he has no bitter feelings about it. He says the show has changed his life. "You’re making major changes for the rest of your life," he told The Greenville News of being on the show. "No matter if we win the show or not, we’ve committed to do this for the rest of our lives."
The Biggest Loser airs Tuesday night at 8pm ET on NBC.
