NBC is turning its Tuesday night programming upside down by putting
The Singing Bee on first at 8pm, followed by a 90-minute episode of
The Biggest Loser on at 8:30pm.
The Biggest Loser, which began its fourth season on September 11, will have two two-hour episodes beginning at 8pm on September 18 and 25. The following week, The Singing Bee will premiere on Tuesday, October 2 at 8pm.
Originally, the network had scheduled
The Singing Bee to follow
The Biggest Loser at 9:30pm. NBC did not give any reason for the schedule change.
Meanwhile, other changes are occurring on Sunday nights over at The CW. Last season, The CW aired encore editions of its entire Monday night comedy lineup on Sundays beginning at 5pm. However, this year, only
Girlfriends and
The Game will make second appearances on Sundays.
Sundays are the new Wednesdays on The CW as well. Fans who are having a difficult time deciding what to watch on jam-packed Wednesday nights can catch encores of both
Gossip Girl and
America's Next Top Model on Sundays evenings instead,
Gossip Girl at 6pm and
America's Next Top Model after newcomer
Life Is Wild, which airs at 8pm. The CW is also offering
CW Now and
Online Nation to round out its Sunday nights.
The CW schedule goes as follows:
5:00pm -
Girlfriends (encore)
5:30pm -
The Game (encore)
6:00pm -
Gossip Girl (encore)
7:00pm -
