Kae Whang appears as a contestant in the fourth season of the NBC reality television series The Biggest Loser. She is 27 years old and hails from Clark, New Jersey. She served as a former private in the U.S. military, yet she was honorably discharged due to her weight issues. She has recently gotten married, and has said that she wants to start both acting and looking the part of a healthy newlywed.

She also wishes to visit her grandmother in Korea once she’s able to slim down to her former athletic size. She believes that after getting through basic training and the toughest boot camp the U.S. Army threw at her, following a weight-loss regimen would seem fun by comparison and help her to win the competition. She’s prepared to face the challenges with her affable, energetic demeanor.

Kae, who is 5'2", went from weighing 225 pounds down to 156 pounds during her 11 weeks on the show. At the live finale, she weighed in at 128 pounds, having lost a total of 97 pounds and 43.11% of her total body weight.
