Twenty-two year old Jenn Widder is a camp counselor from River Edge, New Jersey. She recalls going to the weight loss camp, Camp Shane, saying, "We were driving up to the Open House family weekend for Camp Shane (a weight loss camp) and I remember my mother saying, 'I hope we find it, I do not want to be late.' I remember saying to myself, 'I hope we never find it.' Little did I know however, Camp Shane would be my home away from home for the next ten summers and now my career of choice." Jenn has a lot of faith in the camp, as it has helped shape her into the person she is today--incredibly outgoing, funny, and compassionate. She is now the Assistant Director for the most esteemed weight loss camp in the United States and she is determined to physically represent the organization by losing weight herself. She wants to be proud of herself, and hopes that one day people would see her for who she is in the inside, and not just her physical appearance. Her new year's resolution is to go back to fat camp with a thin figure.
Best friends and co-camp counselors at Camp Shane,
Maggie King and Jenn teamed up on a mission to lose weight on NBC's The Biggest Loser 5, where they were Team Purple. Jenn's initial weigh in was at 254 lbs. Jenn was eliminated on week 5.
