In probably the funniest moment of the episode, after the last team of Daniel and David weigh in as the biggest team ever, they turn to Jillian to tell her that she has her work cut out for her. Alison informs them that Jillian loves challenges, to which Jillian gives the most forced fake laugh ever.

The workout starts. Jillian is quick to inform them all that she will push them until they quit because it's her way “or the door.” Bob's telling them that they have the power and they can take hold of the power and it instantly cuts to Jillian telling Laura that she'll keep running until her lips turn blue.

Jerry returns to the house and informs everyone that his blood pressure had dropped during the work out causing him to pass out. The first thing he hears is that Jillian is his trainer, which put him right back in the game.

The first challenge, the contestants are lined up on a bridge. There's a huge mound of dirt separating them from the other side. The must race across, both reach the flag and then race back. The top 5 teams will race again, then the top two, and the winning team will have immunity. The red team, black team, yellow team, green team and the blue team finish in the top 5. Tara, from the green team, seems to have a lot of energy but Laura seems to be less motivated, so it won't matter if Tara finishes first unless Laura finishes with her. The end up losing the round yet Tara is still supportive of Laura saying that she gave all she had. The black team and the yellow team are in the final race, Mandi and Blaine are the first to cross the finish line but they both have to wait on their teammates Aubrey and Dane. It's a head to head finish and in a photographic finish, and Dane from the black team wins it by a foot.

Next, each team visits the doctor. He delivers a piece of bad news to each team. Then they have a last chance workout before their final weigh in. Alison announces that there won't be a weigh in tonight and the contestants start cheering but very soon, they realize that there's a catch. She then tells us that 9 people are going home. 9! Out of 22? What? Blaine and Dane are safe as well as the best weigh in couple and the rest of the 9 teams will have to choose one person from each team to go home.

Ron lost 32 pounds, the most anyone has ever lost in a single week on the Biggest Loser campus. The teams were told, after the weigh in, that if their teammate remains in the game after 30 days, the expelled teammate would come back to The Biggest Loser campus. Sione, Laura, Aubrey, Nicole, David, Carla, Shannon, Cathy, and Estella all are going home. Which means that next week, the contestants remaining will be:
