Immunity challenge time! A bunch of rowing machines are hooked up to lights. They must all row and keep their light green. If they start to lose power, the light will turn yellow as a warning and if it turns red, BOTH members of the team are eliminated.

Laura goes to yellow right away along with Dane. Then Ron goes to yellow and can’t save himself. Mike and Ron are first out. Aubrey goes to yellow and stays there for a while before her light hits red. Shanon finds herself in the yellow fairly often but manages to stay in. The Pink team is the next eliminated. The Purple team gets eliminated at 14 minutes because Cathy was having a difficult time. Filipe loses for the Blue team. Laura finally loses it for the Green team and Dane wins immunity after 24 minutes. Laura starts crying because she wanted to win immunity for Tara to give her the break she’s been looking for.


Bob sits down with Ron and talks to him about his knee. Ron gets emotional because he feel like he’s letting down Mike. Bob’s leaving Ron at the pool for an all day workout while the rest of his team goes to the beach. He makes them all run laps in the sand, then crab walk, and then run around with logs on their shoulders.

Back at the house, Jillian has finally taken her team outside. She has them doing eighties workouts, boxing, and jogging laps. Tara’s having difficulties focusing again. Jillian tells her to let it go and leave Laura to her.

Weigh-in time! Once again, only one team will fall below the yellow line this week. The team with the lowest percentage of weight loss total will lose a team member.

Team Black, Dane, -4 pounds total 1.22%%

Team Green, Tara, -7 lbs and Laura, -8 lbs, -15 pounds total 3.14%
Team Yellow, Mandi, -5 lbs and Aubrey, -7 lbs, -12 pounds total 2.74%
Team Blue, Filipe, -7 lbs and Sione, -9 lbs, -16 pounds total 2.65%
Team Brown, Ron, -7 lbs and Mike, -10 lbs, -17 pounds total 2.51%
Team Purple, Kristin, -12 lbs and Cathy, -1 lbs, -13 pounds total 2.30%
Team Pink, Helen, -6 lbs and Shanon -3 lbs, -9 pounds total 1.99%

Kristin manages to get below the 300 pound mark. Ron and Mike pull off big numbers. Unfortunately, Helen and Shanon fall below the yellow line even though they had access to the gym all week.

Helen and Shanon tell the cast that they’ve discussed it an want Shanon to go home. Shanon has more weight to lose but doesn’t want her mom to go home. They realize that Helen’s being a little bit selfish. Either they send Helen home because that’s what the pink team has requested or they send Shanon home because she’s the bigger threat.

Tara starts off the voting and votes for Shanon because she wants to respect their decision. Filipe follows suit. Ron and Cathy seal her fate and send her home.

283 to start. She left the ranch at 238 pounds. Currently, she weighs 198 pounds. Shanon’s now training to be in the roller derby, which is awesome! Her derby name is Flower Power.
