With the announcement of a new season of
The Bachelor spin-off
The Bachelorette, fans of the show are wondering if making the show the woman's choice will result in another success. For now, Trista and Ryan Sutter from the first season are the only married couple to emerge from the series, and have recently given birth to the first
Bachelor series baby, their son Max.
Trista continues to be open with the media around her life, including a recent appearance on Tyra Banks' show to talk about fertility issues, but she's not planning on opening up her life to reality cameras again any time soon. She recently talked about what is on her plate for the coming year.
The Bachelorette star recently lost her baby weight, which she publicly celebrated with a bikini photo shoot. She includes maintaining that goal on her list of 2008 plans, but she also is taking a broader view of what she wants for life in the year.
She recently told baby blog Pinks & Blues what she is planning for the year, saying her priorities are:
"1. Being the best mom and wife I can be (and keeping our fingers crossed for another baby blessing!).
2. Spending time expanding my new line of diaper bags. It's called Trista Baby and it's been a great opportunity in that it I can work from home and be here every day for Max.
3. Maintaining (and hopefully surpassing!) the health and fitness level that I've worked hard to achieve.
4. Working with companies to help increase awareness about fertility issues and anything baby related, as I've been through a lot with trying for two years, then developing gestational diabetes, preclampsia and HELLP syndrome, and now living the life I always dreamed of as a mom."
Keep your eye out for new developments in any of these areas for
The Bachelorette mom, including that possible second
Bachelor series baby!
