The Bachelorette: Trista and Ryan Sutter Trying for Another Baby
Saturday, March 01, 2008

the bacheloretteAs reported previously, Trista Sutter, The Bachelorette first season star, has already publicly celebrated her recent pregnancy weight loss with a bikini photo shoot, yet she is still keen on the possibility of having another child, after giving birth to Maxwell, her first child with Ryan Sutter, who captured her heart on the first season of the reality dating show.

Now, Trista Sutter is eagerly trying to expand her family as she attempts to bring another baby in this world, despite some serious medical complications during her first pregnancy.

"We've started trying!" Trista told Us Weekly.  "We wanted to wait for a while because I was really sick during my first pregnancy."

Several months into her pregnancy, Trista was diagnosed with HELLP (hemolysis, elevated liver enzyme levels and a low pallet count) syndrome, a complication of preeclampsia that attacks the mother's vital organs.  Due to the diagnosis, Trista delivered her first child four-weeks early via a C-section last July.

"I'd love to have babies close in age," Trista said.  "And it took us so long [to get pregnant] the first time that if it takes us two years, then that will be fine.  I'd love to have a girl.  I'm a girlie-girl and would love to take a little girl shopping!"

In the more than five months since welcoming Max into the world, Trista has lost all 30 of her pregnancy pounds, which has helped her confidence and her relationship with her husband, whom she met during ABC's Winter 2003 broadcast of The Bachelorette's first season.

"I feel a lot more fit and healthy," she told Us.  "And I think that's playing a part in our relationship."

Meanwhile, fans can catch a new season of The Bachelorette, which returns to ABC during following an absence of three and a half years.  The fourth season, which premieres this summer, will feature DeAnna Pappas, who was rejected by Brad Womack on the 11th season of The Bachelor.
